Motocross is a sport for the dauntless ones, but it really is fun and excitement. The most common parts to perform that sport are Motocross, Supercross and Freestyle Motocross.
Motocross, also called MX, sets place on an outdoor location. Many different places can be part of the race here. Open plains with humps and hills are a preferred racing ground. The competitors here are able to race cross country in the open. Weather conditions are no matter. Normally good weather is preferred for it makes riding the route a lot easier. Getting dirty is an inevitable in this sport. Most of the time you drive through puddles of mud which really let you get ready for the laundry. Well, it may not be time for laundry, not with the racing suits. Made of Leather they are not really made to be put into a washing machine.
Driving on the plains is a racing option; another option is to race in the woods. Often the routes are prepared through a forest with nice bumps and jumps. This can be a forest located at a mountain which provides the steep trails you can race on. Here the drivers have to be careful, because if they fall of their bikes, the fall itself may be stopped by a tree or will last longer while falling down the hillside. Watching these races really is fun, what can be better than a nice sunny afternoon with a nice little race over sticks and stones? Jumping through the air, competing with others to get number one, a nice and fair fun for all, drivers and audience.
Like said before, there is another discipline. It is called Freestyle Motocross, also FMX. In normal Motocross races the goal is to get to the finish line as first. Now here comes the tricky part. In normal Cross races the drivers keep a constant amount of jumps coming. Someday they realized that these jumps could be improved in a certain way. To make the audience cheer, the drivers perform certain tricks while in mid-air. These tricks normally are extended to little stunt performances. While mid-air, the drivers do flips forward and backward, turnarounds with their bikes or maybe they just shortly let their bike go for a short time. The possible tricks and stunts are of a great variety.
Supercross is not a way to get chicken delicious, it is another way to perform a race on a motocross bike. Most of the time Supercross is being performed in a stadium or arena. For that the location has to be prepared and created. Many tons of sand, clay and mud are needed to build up such a racing track. The tracks are stuffed with jumps and hills which provide a constant chance of jumping over them. These tracks often are of short nature for the space in these halls is not quite wide. These races are very exhausting for the drivers because of the constant concentration on the correct landings after a jump. Normally the duration of such a race is shorter than the time for outdoor races.
